Isolated Quotes from Bhagwad Geeta can possibly be interpreted in many ways. Quite similar to life, every individual may gain a different flare of experience from the same event. The control which is spoken of, does mean an individual must be the same self in multiple facets of skills, may it be farming, war, art, family or at work. Every individual must strive to do what she / he / they want to aspire and give best to the individual’s capabilities.
In present day, the world seems too interconnected and every individual reaching out to be unique. With an urge for relevance, society has overcrowded the present day dynamics with more fundamentals, may it be the type of food you prefer, the subject of interest, political lineage, myriad designations / grades at work or even the favorite genre of song.
A mature community has always been about collaboration hence a circle. It is evident in work and ethics culture in the Global West. Yet, traditional dogmas of imperialism have outlived us and we tend to breathe with a sense of competition. It reflects in all aspects from the class rooms we sit in to the office hierarchy we work in.
These tutored sense of approach to the society has governed the way to reach for our goals. Any goal which you may want to perceive can only be obtained by a collaboration among all events in the day, that may be an activities or the people in our lives. For collaboration to exist, trust should be undivided and equal, for the mind to be in power. Collaboration is the shortest route to achieving the Goal, compared to the competition way of things.
Every Goal is worthy. Every Goal is unique. There are two ways reaching out for it, competition or collaboration. If an individual wants to pursue art, sole focus on artisan skills will not help. Same goes for fitness and wellbeing, we are all aware that just exercising will not help. Every individual has the basic understanding to implement collaboration among all events and activities in their day to day life. Yet, the individual makes it a priority to punch in at the office by 0900 hours, finish a given task in whatsoever condition by 1100 hours, run a personal errand between 1300 and 1400 hours.
When it comes to the organization, the conventional management style has been pyramidal format. It resembles the imperial education system and the imperial raj of the British. To convey a unique identity to every individual, myriad designations have propped up with huge overlap of roles and responsibilities.
All we can do it groom out inner self. A better You makes a better circle of people you are in. For things to reflect in the grand scheme of things, shall take its course of time. But change in the inner self, is immediate and accentuating as the morning’s fresh air. I am hopeful that every individual will find the joy in their life for being themselves.
Happy Hunting!
